Where is your focus?

I continue to hear it. Talk about the economy, money, down times, downward trends, and so forth. I continue to hear the story that people tell themselves and I couple that with my own new found keen awareness that everything we think about and focus on... expands. where is your focus today? Is it on a story that works well for you or one that merely reflects "what is" rather than what you would prefer?

If you are looking at "what is" and you don't like what that looks like, try changing your story. In fact, here is an adaptation of something I read this morning from and Esther and Jerry Hicks book on Money, and the Law of Attraction:

Create a new "story" about:
... the positive aspects of my current subject of attraction. What do you like about what you see?
...the way I really want things to be.
...how well things are going. (even if you need a microscope to see some of it!)
...abundance that flows abundantly.
...how time is perceptual and endless.
...the best things I see.
...my favorite memories.
...the obvious expansion of my life.
...the amazing or interesting or wonderful aspects of my world.
...the incredible variety that surrounds me.
...the willingness and effectiveness of so many.
...the power of my own thoughts.

The first place to start when you want to change how "it is" is to change how you "see it". Only positive focus will attract more positive results and if you are stuck on how bad things are, is it any wonder that this is what you continue to see?
